Children's Specialized Hospital Foundation of Toms River
The PFL Foundation has made a donation to the Children's Specialized Hospital Foundation of Toms River. This is in honor of Christine Frauenheim, who recently passed away from a long and courageous battle with Uveal Melanoma. Christine was a registered nurse for her entire professional life. In the latter part of her career, she worked at the Children’s Specialized Hospital (CSH) in Toms River. She was a dedicated pediatric long term care giver where she maintained lifetime bonds with her patients. She was a mother of 4 and beloved wife of Michael Frauenheim, a long-time friend of the PFL Foundation.
The charity aligns with the PFL mission since it transforms the lives of children with special healthcare needs such as chronic illnesses, complex physical disabilities and brain and spinal cord injuries. The Foundation works with patients and families in pursuit of the vision of a world where all children can break barriers and reach their full potential.
